4.5.1.2.3 Test routine. All fuses in the sample shall be subjected to the tests specified in table IV.

1/ At the option of the manufacturer, in-process
inspection such as Statistical Process Control,
which includes inspection of all the inspections or
tests specified in table IV, may be used after
approval from the qualifying activity in lieu of the
sampling plan specified in table V. All of the in-
process control data for these tests shall be made
available to the qualifying activity upon request.
4.5.1.3 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall consist of the tests specified in table VI in the order shown
and shall be made on sample units which have passed the group A inspection. Sample units which have been
subjected to group B inspection shall not be delivered on the contract or order.

1/ If the manufacturer can demonstrate that these tests have been performed ten
consecutive times with zero failures, the frequency of these tests, with the approval of the
qualifying activity, can be performed on a quarterly basis. If the design, material,
construction, or processing of the fuse is changed, or if there are any quality problems or
failures, the qualifying activity may require resumption of the original test frequency.
2/ Overload interrupt tests shall be conducted at room ambient temperature only.
